This is the Main Street: Colorado Boulevard, Pasadena California.
Home to the annual Tournament of Roses Parade.
People have been coming to this street from all parts of the globe since the 19th century. You can give credit, or blame, to Charles F. Holder, a zoologist of all things, for instigating this idea to show the world what we got – or had!
Here are a couple of snapshots of the parade route as of 12/15/2011.
About the only difference between parade day, and this day, is these vehicles of metal & plastic will be replaced by vehicles of flowers & other natural items.
Are you coming to Pasadena to see the parade, or gonna tune in on the tube?
